The Maintenance Mechanic (MMM) is an hourly position reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on mechanical and production/process equipment and systems
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Perform mechanical welding, sheet metal work, and basic automotive repair
- Support incidental pipefitting and electrical work related to mechanical systems
- Use engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, and work instructions to complete tasks
- Prepare work areas before and after maintenance activities
- Rig ladders and scaffolding as needed
- Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Use precision tools and measuring instruments to produce parts within tolerance
- Maintain storeroom parts inventory and identify stocking needs
- Support housekeeping, cleanup, and equipment area maintenance
- Participate in TPM, Kaizen, safety, and quality programs
- Comply with safety rules, JHAs, and environmental requirements
- Complete required records, reports, and documentation
- Support cross-training, relief assignments, and additional duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 4 years mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US
- Must be drug and alcohol free

- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and training
Computer Skills
- Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Ability to use SAP for work orders, data entry, and reporting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to lift and use hand dexterity for mechanical work
- Ability to wear required PPE (including respirators/PAPR)
