About the role
Maintain and repair injection molding machines, trowel machines, baggers, robots, and grinders, among other company equipment. Perform inspections, set up, troubleshoot, debug, and modify control programs. Clean and disinfect equipment and robots. Install new machines, including leveling and installing water and compressed air systems. Modify equipment to ensure safety. Implement preventative maintenance programs. Assist with general facility maintenance. Machining locks and knock-out rods (limited sizes due to machine size). Research vendors, process orders, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain injection molding machines, trowel machines, baggers, robots, and grinders.
- Inspect, repair, or replace machine components like screws, barrels, pistons, etc.
- Set up, troubleshoot, debug, and modify control programs.
- Clean equipment and robots, remove plastic residue, and repair or replace broken parts.
- Install new machines, including leveling, installing water and compressed air systems.
- Create assembly belts as needed.
- Modify equipment to ensure safety.
- Utilize preventative maintenance programs to maintain and prevent equipment failures.
- Assist with general facility maintenance.
- Machining locks and knock-out rods (limited sizes due to machine size).
- Research vendors, check availability, process orders to purchasing department.
- Affirm compliance with health and safety requirements and maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Strong technical, engineering, and manufacturing background.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Statistical and data analysis skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork and goal-oriented mindset.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Safe operation of forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Adherence to attendance and cell phone policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a molding facility preferred.
- Power Industrial Truck License (1D) for forklift use preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

Monday through Friday – 8 hour shifts 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 2:30 pm-11:00 pm
