Qualifications
- High school or tech school education and 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Experience with 480v 3 phase electrical equipment.
- Ability to perform general maintenance tasks directed or assigned by the supervisor.
- Familiar with hand tools and power tools, common in maintenance work.
- Willing to work overtime, including weekends as needed, and must have excellent attendance and good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment consisting of JSF employees and outside contractors.
- Understanding of Lockout/tagout procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to support the production floor and overall facility operations.
- Ensure all machinery, equipment, and work areas are maintained in good working order and comply with safety standards.
- Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery, building systems, and facility grounds as required.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, squat, and stop for long periods (8+ hours).
- Climb ladders.
- Use hands for tasks, reach with arms, and communicate verbally.
- Movement of objects up to 100 lbs. if necessary, moderate to heavy physical effort, ability to bend, lift, and twist repeatedly.
- Close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
