Maintenance Tasks
- Maintain industrial automation machinery and robotics
- Conduct equipment inspections for proper operation and mechanical integrity
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
Technical Skills
- Possess ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Have a working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout
- Troubleshoot components and diagnose system failures
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and concepts
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics
Other Duties
- Other mechanical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have three plus years of industrial machinery maintenance experience
- Broad Technical training (high school plus 1 to 2 years of apprenticeship/applied trades training)
- Training requires a basic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics
- Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Multi-craft experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable
- Organizational experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) preferred
