Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Maintenance Mechanic responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance of processing and packaging equipment, providing technical support to optimize manufacturing operations. Works 12-hour shifts in a 24-hour plant, with opportunities for overtime and shift changes after 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Provide technical support and leadership for equipment troubleshooting and modifications
• Initiate and participate in root cause analysis
• Perform both uptime and downtime preventive maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
• Assist in training new employees
