Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues
• Repair and replace components such as motors, pumps, compressors, fans, bearings, seals, switches, fixtures, receptacles, and filters
• Maintain walls, ceilings, flooring, sidewalks, concrete surfaces, and other building components
• Assist with HVAC support functions, irrigation systems, compressed gas systems, and general facility operations
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine effective repair solutions
• Use hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair work safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and assist with repair specifications when needed
• Support facility appearance, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness
• Work as part of a collaborative maintenance team committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance, mechanical repair, or related experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing building systems and mechanical equipment
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass required background screenings and drug testing
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to meet physical and security requirements associated with the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, government, military, industrial, or commercial facilities
• Experience with pumps, compressors, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC support, or mechanical equipment repair
• Trade certifications or specialized maintenance training
• Experience working in a regulated or safety-sensitive environment

Pay

$40.00 - $46.57 per hour
