Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all company equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy machinery and metal processing equipment.
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment as needed.
- Install new machinery, parts, and components.
- Perform welding and fabrication work when required.
- Fuel, lubricate, and maintain operational readiness of all assigned equipment.
- Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Keep supervisors informed about equipment conditions, repairs, and parts needs.
- Maintain accountability for company tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and confined space procedures.
- Participate in general facility cleanup and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience, including work with heavy machinery, trucks, and metal processing equipment.
- Strong background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to lead or support a maintenance team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working overhead, climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
