Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment and machinery at Crane Pumps & Systems in Piqua, OH.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on pumps, valves, and other plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality control standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor

Skills

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Understanding of electrical systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
