As a Maintenance Mechanic

• Responsible for installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintenance of high-speed, industrial process equipment for cap assembly/pouch making, power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls for all production processes and control equipment.
• Includes all electrical power (24 to 600 volts), automation controllers, VFDs, transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices.

What Does an Average Day Look Like?

• Driving Results: Adheres to safety protocols and SOPs for assigned areas.
• Taking Ownership: Reviews and updates daily logs, work orders, KPIs, RCA tracking, and participates in shift meetings.
• Making Decisions: Diagnoses and resolves equipment malfunctions, optimizes line performance, and implements process improvements.
• Cultivating Relationships: Identifies and addresses inefficiencies and potential issues, coordinating with supervisors for implementation.
• Establishing Customer Focus: Maintains positive work relationships, handles stress, and fosters a productive work environment.

Background Required

• Minimum 3 years of Mechanical and/or Electrical experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Working knowledge of industrial automation controllers, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, mechanical timing, interface units, AC motors, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Electro-Mechanical Technology Degree preferred.
• Experience with close tolerances, machine setups, and standard manufacturing equipment such as geared motors, conveyors, bearings, gears, drive trains, etc.
• Superb communication and organizational skills for documenting production issues.
