Maintenance Mechanic

• Troubleshoot, maintain, track and repair electrical and mechanical issues with processing and packaging equipment.
• Repair and overhaul equipment parts – e.g., rebuilding pumps and other equipment, as necessary.
• Execute repairs delegated through work orders initiated by Maintenance Planner.
• Troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete work orders and parts issuances as required.
• Complete welding and fabrication jobs as required.
• Maintain maintenance shop cleanliness.
• Maintain plant buildings and premises according to Supervisor instruction (e.g., repairing damaged walls, damaged sidings, adjusting doors).
• Record and track work completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Post Secondary Technical degree
• Mechanical experience
