Position Details
Title: Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift
Location: Alsip, IL
National, well established printing paper distributor and convertor has an opening for an experienced maintenance mechanic on our 3rd shift.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Installations and overhauls to equipment, machinery and facilities, including rewinders, sheeters and trimmers.
- Hydraulic & pneumatic systems, basic electrical circuits, motors, gears, compressors, pumps, clutches and brakes.
- Perform other tasks such as light machining, preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubricating parts as well as welding and fabricating parts.
- Able to follow written instructions from manuals, schematics, specifications and manufacturer’s directions required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience. Knowledge in a paper converting facility or similar industry setting preferred but not required.

- MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE PRE EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND, DRUG, AND PHYSICAL SCREENINGS.

Pay
Starting hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00/hr
Schedule
3rd Shift Hours - 11:00PM-7:00AM
