The Impact You Will Make

The Maintenance Specialist at Kindeva ensures that all assigned production, utilities, and facilities equipment operates efficiently and safely, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturer guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve using advanced mechanical, electrical, and programmable logic controller (PLC) diagnostic techniques and equipment.
  • Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs on all equipment.
  • Monitor, analyze, diagnose, and fine-tune equipment performance, including mechanical and electrical (power, digital, analog) issues.
  • Test and evaluate equipment performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and complex equipment manuals.
  • Utilize basic PC skills (Microsoft Office tools) and familiarize with CMMS programs.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner, including records on all maintenance performed according to SOPs, logbooks, work orders, etc.
  • Identify and correct issues independently without supervision.
  • Set up, tear down, and change-over production machinery as required.
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Aid engineers with projects, processes, and documentation of new procedures and machine changes or additions.
  • Assist with training colleagues to enhance their skills and capabilities for new or existing equipment, processes, procedures, or techniques.
  • Support and participate in the Company's management and quality system, including continuous improvement efforts and Quality Management.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED and a technical certificate.
  • 2+ years related experience.
  • Specialization in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, and/or Control Systems technology.
  • Applicable college degree may be accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Ability to wear a respirator.
  • Must be able to be gown qualified to enter the Aseptic area.
  • All applicants must pass a math and reading comprehension test along with a Standard Timing Model test prior to being offered the position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree.

Pay

Position is eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.
