Maintenance Mechanic 2 Childrens Hospital Campus

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance & Repair
• Repairs lighting systems by replacing bulbs, ballasts, broken plugs, and switches.
• Maintains and repairs hospital air conditioning system by changing air filters and replacing and calibrating thermostats.
• Operates standby equipment including boilers, cooling towers, and electrical lines in case of plant systems failure.
• Repairs steam lines, pumps, motors, and generators in a manner that promotes safety and conforms to hospital standards.
• Productivity
• Repairs or replaces television sets, nurse call systems, and other electrical equipment as requested in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains all required records and information pertinent to maintenance and repair costs with special attention given to the accuracy and details of reported information.

Qualifications

• 1 year in building or hospital maintenance
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
