Key Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain machinery in accordance with diagrams, blueprints, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
- Perform basic to moderately complex routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Diagnose and repair breakdown in machinery
- Handle moderately complex mechanical issues and refer more complex problems to higher-level staff
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required Education: High School
- Required Experience: Works independently on well-defined tasks and demonstrates increasing confidence in performing repairs with minimal supervision
- Typically Requires: 2+ years of relevant experience
- Competencies/Skills: Manufacturing support, Hand tools, Troubleshooting, Equipment monitoring, maintenance and repair, Process documentation, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Strong manual dexterity and ability to lift/move heavy objects, Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and interpret work instructions accurately
