Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and AC/DC electrical circuits ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, production machinery, and associated controls.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Safely operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, power tools, and hand tools as needed.
  • Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Support inventory management of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, BMP, food safety, and plant safety standards.
  • Properly handle, label, and store hazardous materials and waste.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong experience with: High-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics, mechanical equipment repair, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and production systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, vocational certification, or college coursework preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SCADA experience.
  • Food manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in pelletizing or automated production environments.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Strong visual acuity, depth perception, and attention to detail.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, moving mechanical parts, and forklift traffic.
  • Safety-focused environment requiring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
