Essential Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and support personnel.
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective maintenance planning and execution.
- Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM compliance, response times, and maintenance costs.
- Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, spare parts, and vendor relationships.
- Cook up maintenance activities with production to minimize operational disruptions.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within the CMMS.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Experience with capital project management.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Reliability or predictive maintenance certifications are a plus.
- A proactive approach to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to building a safe, engaged, and high-performing maintenance team.
