Maintenance Manager
About the role
The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and strategic direction to the site maintenance organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of plant assets. This role is responsible for driving daily execution while advancing long-term asset reliability goals through the consistent application of maintenance and reliability best practices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Safety Leader, ensuring safety is integrated into all maintenance planning and execution activities
- Partner closely with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) teams, with a goal of zero incidents and continuous EHS performance improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, improve productivity and efficiency, and control maintenance costs
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience required
- Engineering degree preferred
- Strong working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Familiarity with NFPA Arc Flash safety requirements
- Proficiency in work management processes, including planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing major maintenance outages
- Thorough understanding of Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance programs
- Experience with reliability tools such as Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Solid understanding of Lean, 5S, and reliability process improvement methodologies
Qualifications
- Waste-to-Energy maintenance experience or a strong background in power generation, industrial, or chemical plant maintenance is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb routinely
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to qualify for and wear a full-face respirator
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Pay Transparency
Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $108,900.00 - $155,600.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
