Maintenance Manager
About the Role
This position requires a proven ability to maintain high standards aligned with corporate values while holding team members accountable. You will demonstrate experience managing maintenance strategies, excellent prioritization and resource allocation skills, and strong business analytics capabilities. Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential, along with strong team leadership to develop, energize, and empower others.
A desire to work closely with plant personnel to solve problems and implement improvements, a sense of urgency, and the ability to positively engage others to move projects forward are key. In-depth knowledge of chemical processing technologies and environmental compliance equipment is required, along with experience performing equipment reliability studies, preventive maintenance programs, and long-term improvement initiatives. The role may require wearing a respirator as dictated by assigned tasks or chemical safety data sheets.
Requirements
- Four-year engineering degree.
- Experience in maintenance and reliability engineering.
- 5+ years of related experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, including ultrasound, vibration monitoring, and thermal imaging.
- Experience using data historians.
- CAD experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and modify PLC ladder logic.
