Maintenance Manager

Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance program for the Brownsville Plant, ensuring safety and implementing a strategic maintenance plan. Responsibilities include managing a team, overseeing CMMS operations, and driving improvement initiatives.

• Ensures safety through best practices and incident investigation
• Hires and retains skilled personnel
• Develops and implements maintenance strategies
• Manages CMMS modules and supports planning processes
• Develops capital requests and manages rebuild/repair projects
• Provides regular reports on safety and maintenance
• Participates in employee performance management
• Drives TPM programs and supports Maintenance Excellence

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Technical degree or relevant experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance - PLC knowledge (preferred) - Situational leadership - Outstanding communication skills - Time-based/condition-based maintenance routine development - Experience with predictive maintenance tools (Vibration Monitoring, Thermography, Oil sampling) - Analytical thinking and strong RCA skills - Solid project planning and implementation skills - Experience with TPM programs (preferred)

Working Conditions: - Spend time in the plant for equipment work and project management - Office time for planning, scheduling, and reporting - Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds - Walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching to inspect site conditions - Exposure to slippery surfaces, pinch points, trip/fall hazards, and overhead obstacles - Must wear personal protective equipment including eye and ear protection, respiratory gear, fall prevention harnesses, and other gear as required
