Description Of Job Duties
Provide strategic leadership to the plant maintenance team, with a strong focus on planning and scheduling predictive and preventive maintenance programs and improving overall equipment reliability.
Prioritize and assess the severity of daily maintenance issues and emergencies to minimize plant downtime and maximize productivity.
Monitor, analyze, and drive improvement in key maintenance performance indicators such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, PM compliance, and schedule adherence.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights.
Utilize statistical tools (e.g., Design of Experiments, SPC) to determine root causes of equipment failures and recommend design, process, or tolerance modifications.
Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in petrochemical or chemical processing environments, with roles in engineering and maintenance.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.
- Strong background in maintenance planning, project development, and execution.
- Demonstrated experience in the managing capital, maintenance, and engineering budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Project).
