About the role
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of hydraulic and electrical equipment used in the manufacturing of blow-molded bottles and containers. Key responsibilities include managing a team, leading preventive and routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical & electrical personnel in executing safe and effective maintenance procedures
- Lead the maintenance program to minimize machine downtime through preventative and routine maintenance
- Repair or rebuild equipment as needed to avoid breakdowns, ensuring safety and accurate documentation
- Train maintenance team members and develop their professional skills
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems as they arise
- Comply with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- Establish and manage goals and objectives for the maintenance department that align with plant and business goals
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards
- Improve equipment availability and advance preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Optimize the use of maintenance technicians and equipment, and enhance planning and scheduling processes
- Initiate and drive improvements through training programs, capital projects, and other initiatives
- Analyze maintenance problems and implement corrective action plans
- Maintain a parts inventory system to control and ensure proper levels of spare parts
- Evaluate employee performance to identify training needs and development opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a plant-wide Maintenance Manager
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering discipline
- Injection molding or foaming experience preferred
- PLC experience a plus

Pay
$109,400.00 - $136,300.00
