Maintenance II

About the role

Performs routine repairs and maintenance to the building, requires a strong mechanical aptitude and associated building construction knowledge to perform most assigned tasks, and routine repairs.

Responsibilities

• General knowledge and proficiency required for repair and maintenance of surfaces in the facility in a safe and efficient manner, including patching, priming, painting, wall cover, Formica, floor covering cove base and ceiling tile.
• Operates, maintenance, repairs and cleans equipment and systems as necessary.
• Troubleshoots problems, accesses equipment or systems that need repair, and implements repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to safely operate manual and power hand tools often in difficult locations and positions
• 3 years of maintenance/carpentry/painting experience
• Current Washington State Driver’s license

Maintenance vocational/technical course work can substitute for up to one-year experience.

Qualifications

Desired: Healthcare facility maintenance experience.

Pay

Wage Range: $33.14 - $43.26 per hour. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees.
