What Drives Success
Under direct supervision, perform general preventative maintenance and simple repairs on manufacturing machines and mechanical equipment.
- Performs basic maintenance service and repairs.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Assists in diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Inspects drives, motors, and belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, or performs other maintenance actions, following checklists.
- May assist with inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
What We Are Looking For
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires 0-1 years related experience.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
What We Offer
- Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $27.55-43.30/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
