Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, replacing worn parts, and conducting routine inspections.
- Troubleshoot and repair of production equipment using the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Install or relocate production equipment and related facilities.
- Develop knowledge of equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Develop knowledge of common mechanical systems such as fluid control, hydraulics, pneumatics, gas, vacuum, heating, cooling, welding, and conveyance.
- Work under close supervision while developing foundational skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0-10 years of experience in maintenance, including mechanic apprenticeship time.
- Required Qualifications:
- Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools to maintain and repair equipment.
- Ability to follow blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance methods.
