Maintenance Helper-Logistical Services

Responsibilities

• Moves and transports office furniture, laboratory equipment, health care equipment and other equipment or supplies.
• Drives UT vehicles to various locations in the process of transferring or storing University property equipment, or supplies.
• Affords assistance in the relocation of surplus property.
• Sets up, arranges, or takes down equipment for special events.
• Affords assistance in the cleanup of construction sites.
• Removes snow, ice, and debris during inclement weather from parking garages, sidewalks, and other areas.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
• Experience: Six (6) months of satisfactory work performance in a moving company or experience in a related area.
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Ability to operate a standard shift truck, Good oral communication skills, Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, Ability to perform physical labor outside and inside for extended periods.
