Maintenance Helper

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient and safe setup and changeover of production lines for cosmetic manufacturing.
• This included connecting and disconnecting equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that arise during the setup process.
• Set up production lines according to work orders and specifications, including connecting machinery, plumbing, and other necessary components.
• Performed equipment changeovers, ensuring timely and accurate transitions between product runs.
• Inspected equipment for damage or wear and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshooted mechanical issues during setup and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborated with production and maintenance teams to optimize line efficiency.
• Adhered to all safety protocols and quality standards.
• Responded to production calls for pump issues and leaks, troubleshooting problems.
• Worked with diaphragm, Waukesha, and drum pumps.
• Maintained a clean production floor to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
• Operated various forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 2:30pm - 11:00pm and 6:00am - 2:30pm.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

• $18.00 per hour for 2nd shift.
• $19.00 per hour for 1st shift.
