Maintenance / Handyman

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing drywall, painting, fixing minor plumbing and electrical issues, and repairing appliances.
• Repair or install cabinets, doors, windows, and other carpentry-related tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, as well as address plumbing issues such as leaks and clogs.
• Replace light fixtures, outlets, and switches; troubleshoot electrical problems and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain outdoor areas including landscaping, snow removal, and maintaining sidewalks and parking lots.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with company safety standards and applicable codes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role, preferably in residential property management.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with tenants and vendors.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
