Handyman / Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Project Estimation: Walk through projects with subcontractors to evaluate work scope and requirements. Assist in gathering and comparing estimates from various subcontractors. Ensure clear and detailed communication of project needs and expectations.
• Repair and Maintenance: Perform small repairs and maintenance tasks across different sites as required. Address issues such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc. Ensure all repairs comply with local building codes and quality standards.
• Cordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and company management. Coordinate schedules and facilitate communication to ensure smooth workflow.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect repair work to ensure quality and completeness. Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of walkthroughs, estimates, repairs, and any related communication. Provide regular updates to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of handyman experience, preferably in a multi-project environment.
• Strong knowledge of common repair and maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction estimating and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
