Maintenance Worker/Handyman

About the role

The Maintenance Worker/Handyman is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to keep the facility in good working order. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning, painting, repairing equipment, and maintaining grounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining common areas
• Painting and touch-up work
• Maintaining and repairing equipment as needed
• Mowing lawns and trimming trees
• Other general maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to perform the duties listed above
• Experience in a similar role preferred

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills

Skills

• Proficient in basic hand tools
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Good communication skills
