Maintenance Generalist Lead MG08L 3rd shift -Newbern

This position assists the Supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities by ensuring instructions are communicated to team members and executed accurately and on time. Additional duties include troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while adhering to Tyson policies and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
• Learn and use Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation
• Comprehend and process position-related paperwork
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and management
• Perform work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, and other tasks using math skills
• Lift up to 50 lbs. daily and stand for up to 12 hours
• Complete all required job training
• Learn inventory management and perform lead duties, including assigning work, communicating with contractors/vendors, and assisting with plant projects
• Work in varying environments: hot, cold (as low as -10°F in freezers), and wet conditions

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months cumulative experience as a lead or in industrial maintenance (or equivalent training)
• Willingness and ability to perform physical job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
