Maintenance Generalist (B Shift) (MG01 - MG08) - Dardanelle Plant

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment; handle work orders including electrical, welding, fabricating, troubleshooting, and general repairs of lines, conveyors, and machines.
• Make rounds and document system conditions (temperatures, pressure, inspections, etc.) and maintain acceptable tolerance ranges.
• Read, interpret, and understand drawings, sketches, prints related to the maintenance and repair of processing equipment.
• Support the Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal of Zero Accidents.
• Work in outside temperatures ranging from cold to hot and be exposed to exterior environment occasionally (rain, snow, wind).
• Environment may be dusty, damp, humid, wet, with high concentration of allergens.
• Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours a day; grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Lift in excess of 40 lbs., climb stairs and ladders.
• Comprehend oral and written instructions.
• Minimum of one year maintenance experience.
• Provide own hand tools.
