About the Role

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson Safety Culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM’s) and assist with breakdowns
• Perform various positions as required or assigned
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
• Learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation
• Read, write, and perform math computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Lift over 70 lbs. daily and work on your feet for up to 12 hours
• Complete all required job training
• Work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50°F or less
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 2 years of prior Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent technical education
• Six months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last twelve months or completion of a technical/training program in the prior 12 months
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Government identification number required for employment history verification
• Must be able to work any shift (day, evening, or night) as assigned
