Maintenance Generalist All Shifts Pasco (July)

This position could work in any of the following departments: Processing, Harvest, Warehouse, Rendering, Yards, or groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform work involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and conveyor maintenance.
• Repair and maintain the operating conditions of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems that occur in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• Complete daily documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively to resolve mechanical failures.
• Read manuals to repair equipment safely.
• Complete all required training for the job.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours a day.
• Willingness to work around meat environment (e.g., blood, fat, bones, hair, and other cattle products).
• Willingness to work in inclement environments (hot, cold, humid, icy, dusty) with temperatures ranging from 20°F to 100°F.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• 12 months of industrial work experience or 6 months of continued education in at least two of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Welding, or Conveyor Maintenance.
• Open to working any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and available for overtime.
• Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
• Pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment.
• Rehire eligibility: 180 days after last term date with a maximum of 2 rehire opportunities.

Pay

Base pay range: $32.30 per hour. Additional compensation may be available based on shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.

Schedule

All shifts (days, nights, weekends) with availability for overtime.
