Industrial Maintenance Pasco All Shifts (Sept)

About the role

This position could work in any of the following departments: Processing, Harvest, Warehouse, Rendering, Yards, or groundskeeping.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing 10–12 hours per day
• Work around a meat environment involving blood, fat, bones, hair, and other cattle products
• Work in inclement environments (hot, cold, humid, icy, dusty, etc.) with temperatures ranging from 20°F to 100°F

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous production by keeping machinery running
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, welding, and conveyor maintenance
• Repair and maintain operating conditions of machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operational problems
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery
• Complete required daily documentation
• Communicate effectively with employees and management to resolve mechanical failures
• Read manuals to repair equipment safely
• Complete all required training and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 12 months of industrial work experience OR 6 months of continued education in at least two of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Welding, or Conveyor Maintenance
• Willingness to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and availability for overtime
• Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
• Pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment
• Rehire eligibility: 180 days after last term date with a maximum of 2 rehire opportunities
