Responsibilities
- Oversee field production crews
- Do landscape maintenance work
- Provide first-level supervision of all field production activities
- Must be a strong personal communicator
- Have in-depth knowledge of landscaping
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the Department and Operations Managers
- Resolve crew problems
- Focus on the customer while operating within the Santa Rita Way
- Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation and teamwork
- Accurately forecast project schedules
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, coach, develop, and build crew bench strength
- Comply with OSHA Safety laws
- Conduct safety meetings with team members
- Be self-motivated and results-driven
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Drivers' License
- Ability to be insured under Company Insurance Policy
- Physical demands of the job
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of common name plant identification
- Ability to layout to scale
- Ability to program irrigation types/sizes and troubleshoot issues
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety laws
- Ability to conduct safety meetings with team members
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Three (3) years landscape maintenance experience at Supervisor level leading crews
- Experienced in installing variety of irrigation types/sizes, programming controllers & timers and ability to troubleshoot irrigation issues
- Knowledge of common name plant identification and ability to properly layout to scale
- Ability to accurately forecast project schedule
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety laws and ability to conduct safety meetings with team members
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Strong personal communication skills
