Maintenance Fitter - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain site machinery to ensure safety of personnel, site and equipment
• Carry out repair, testing & preventive maintenance and testing of machines and equipment including:
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, valves
• Gearboxes and bearings
• Rollers, conveyors, pulleys etc.
• Fault-finding and repairing malfunctions of mechanical equipment and plant

Requirements

• Trade Qualifications in Mechanical Fitting
• Experience preferred in Reinforcing Steel or similar industry such as manufacturing (training provided)
• Strong Work Ethic and Reliable
• Safety conscience
• Available to work 6am-2:30pm
• Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully individually and as part of a team

Qualifications

To be successful, you must have Australian Citizenship or legal Work Rights and must undertake a pre-employment Medical Assessment and National Police Check.
