Maintenance/Facilities Manager- Auburn, IN
About the role
Lead maintenance and facility activities to ensure operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment and infrastructure. This individual will be part of the factory leadership team, working closely with other functions to ensure an efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Lead maintenance teams and external contractors
- Ensure high equipment uptime and reliability
- Develop maintenance strategies and continuous improvement plans
- Maintain maintenance KPIs and budgets
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Support capital investment and infrastructure projects
- Support the development of new skills within the maintenance team
- Provide a high level of communication to other members of leadership and operations supervision
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management
- Leadership experience in technical teams
- Knowledge of maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Previous Experience Leading Union Employees
