Description
Operates equipment and machinery; Performs maintenance and labor as needed regarding street/stormwater operations. Performs various construction/roadwork duties, such as working with asphalt, dirt, concrete, or other activities.
Starting Pay
Starting pay $23.6327/hr.

Duties
- Performs concrete finishing operations
- Maintains City streets/alleys, Smooths, levels, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures
- Operates backhoes, mini excavators, front loaders and skid steers to perform street and stormwater operations
- Performs minor maintenance on heavy trucks
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance on streets, street signs, property, facilities, stormwater drainage ways
- Performs snow and water removal
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 yr. experience as roadworker, equipment operator, concrete finisher, or similar position (Equivalent amount of education and/or experience is acceptable)
- Valid driver's license Required within 11 months of employment
- Valid CDL, Class B or higher (Required within 11 months of employment)
