Maintenance Environmental Technician

About the role

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Environmental Technician to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Avantara North. Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment.
• Assist with maintenance and building projects.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility using housekeeping related tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Requirements

• Minimum 11th grade education.
• Prior Environmental Maintenance Technician experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
