Maintenance Engineer - FT

Responsibilities

• Assists in all general maintenance services, projects, and repairs as determined by Management.
• Provides administrative, dispatch and technical support as directed by management.
• Maintains casino, lighting, hotel rooms, hotel corridors, and all Back-of-House and Front-of-House areas.
• Repairs plumbing and associated equipment, to include toilet replacement, leaks in piping, faucet, and snake stopped drains.
• Aids in repairs to air handlers, vent hoods, and kitchen equipment.
• Performs repairs and refreshing of all building surfaces (interior and exterior).
• Aids in hanging banners as required utilizing various equipment, lifts, etc.
• Organizes and inventories storage and electrical rooms.
• Aids in organizing and moving or assembling office equipment and furniture.
• Maintains water treatment of pool and spa.
• Completes work orders in a timely manner.
• Performs other job-related duties as requested by Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year general and preventative maintenance experience.
• Valid state issued driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to work from blueprints and interpret manufacturer's guidelines for the operation and maintenance of related equipment.
• Knowledgeable of hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, carpet, tile, flooring, and soldering.
• Basic knowledge of wall repair and painting.
• Equipment troubleshooting skills.

Working Conditions

• This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking.
• An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays may also be required.
