Schedule

• Full time
• Day shift (7am to 3:30pm) - Monday to Friday

Location: 10925 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, Florida 32832

Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition
• Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
• Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, overseeing essential repairs and other duties as requested
• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures, under limited guidance
• Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly
• Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
• Responds to emergency calls in accordance with facility needs
• Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities
• Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services
• Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
• Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience
• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
• 2+ years of healthcare maintenance experience

• Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
• Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur
• Able to communicate in English
• Ability to document records neatly and accurately
• Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies
• Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner
• Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes
• Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills

Pay

$26.29 - $48.91 per hour
