Schedule
- Full time
- Day shift (7am to 3:30pm) - Monday to Friday
Location: 10925 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, Florida 32832
Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains tools and equipment in good working condition
- Coordinates and performs electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
- Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems, overseeing essential repairs and other duties as requested
- Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures, under limited guidance
- Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly
- Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks
- Responds to emergency calls in accordance with facility needs
- Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities
- Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services
- Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- 2+ years of healthcare maintenance experience
Skills
- Ability to perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations, and modifications per all applicable codes and regulations
- Ability to assist in contributing to system training manuals and upgrades as changes occur
- Able to communicate in English
- Ability to document records neatly and accurately
- Ability to generate requisitions for materials and supplies
- Ability to assign priority and teams in a timely manner
- Ability to instruct others as per blueprints and work from sketches
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes
- Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
Pay
$26.29 - $48.91 per hour
