Responsibilities

• Repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment.
• Cut, thread, bend, couple, and strap conduit.
• Cut wire and conduit to length.
• Install, repair, or replace switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
• Disassemble motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and test electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Use blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices.
• Perform jobs on ladders and in confined spaces.
• Use a respirator and pass respirator fit and fitness medical tests.
• Complete initial safety and job-related training with annual recertifications.
• Support the maintenance team with equipment moves, snow removal, event setups, and other miscellaneous building maintenance functions.
• Relay and receive information effectively.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Utah State Journeyman electrician’s license.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Experience prioritizing and adjusting tasks accordingly.
• Experience following basic instructions and guidelines.

Physical Qualifications

• Perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours.
• Work in external environmental conditions.
• Move and lift tools and equipment associated with job requirements in a safe manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience in electrical installation and repair.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
