Troubleshooting and Maintenance

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Maintain electrical equipment through Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.
• Aid in implementing new control systems.
• Research and develop better controls and electrical processes.
• Track and monitor recurring problems and provide solutions to correct those problems.
• Identify weaknesses in the equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions.
• Understand the technical functionality on electrical equipment and train operators and maintenance technicians on the operations and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation.

• Observe and enforce all company policies, including but not limited to personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment by working effectively and cooperatively with colleagues, customers, and leadership teams.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives using methodologies like Six Sigma.
• Recognize and address safety risks and consistently practice and enforce safe work habits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician or Journeyman’s Electrician’s License with industrial electrical experience.
• Extensive schematic reading capability.
• Any and all other electrical certifications from technical colleges and/or manufacturing programs.
• Preferred 3-5 years of documented experience in the field.
