Maintenance Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power distribution, motor controls, and PLC-driven machinery.
• Navigate our 700k sq. ft. campus to address electrical needs across 11 buildings, ranging from high-tech manufacturing floors to administrative offices.
• Execute scheduled inspections and testing on switchgear, transformers, and emergency generators to prevent downtime.
• Ensure all work meets NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and strictly adheres to OSHA, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and NFPA 70E safety protocols.
• Aid in the layout and installation of electrical runs for new manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment (e.g., Medical Device, Pharma).
• Deep understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and the ability to use diagnostic tools (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that spans multiple buildings and diverse equipment types.
• High school diploma or GED required; Journeyman Electrician license or relevant trade school certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
