Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain all electrical equipment in the factory.
• Follow plant sanitation practices and procedures.
• Stay informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe manner to enhance machine reliability and process improvements.
• Deliver vital predictive and preventative maintenance work to our machinery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years’ industrial electronics or electrical related experience required OR 2 Year Technical Degree / Apprenticeship required.

Qualifications

Must be open to all schedules including nights and 12-hour shifts with a continuous schedule.

Skills

Properly use maintenance equipment including hand tools, lifts, threaders, benders, drills and welding equipment.

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain switch gears, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motors including three phase systems.

Design, program and troubleshoot plant PLCs, VFDs, input/output devices and associated equipment.

Read, update, and create electrical prints and documentation.

Properly install conduit, raceways, fittings, etc.

Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.

Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Pay

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.87 an hour for Maintenance C rate. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance B $44.10, Maintenance A $46.23. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
