Maintenance Electrician

About the role

Rockmart Fuel Containment is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our Facilities Department at our Rockmart location. This full-time, regular position is ideal for a mid-career professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic and innovative industry.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems
• Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems
• Inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
• Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
• Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current certification in OSHA 10H
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
