Maintenance Director

About the role

The Maintenance Director oversees and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of the facility.
• Ensure proper operation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and laundry systems.
• Provide quality laundry services to residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior experience in maintenance in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting.
• One year of prior experience in maintenance supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
