About the role
The Maintenance Director oversees and coordinates maintenance activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality of the facility.
- Ensure proper operation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and laundry systems.
- Provide quality laundry services to residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Prior experience in maintenance in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- One year of prior experience in maintenance supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
