About the role
As the Maintenance Director, you will oversee the maintenance and improvement of the physical plant, participate in scheduling and preventative maintenance planning, and be the expert on all aspects of the facility and its property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the upkeep of the physical plant
- Participate in scheduling and preventative maintenance planning
- Be the expert on all aspects of the facility and its property
- Work in a multi-floor building and elevators
- Work with boilers and chillers
- Work in a healthcare setting and a fast-paced environment
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff
Requirements
- Experienced with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, small remodels, painting and other basic repair work
- Experience working with a multi-floor building and elevators
- Experience working with boilers and chillers
- Comfortable working in a healthcare setting and a fast-paced environment
- Prefer experience in a Nursing Home, Assisted Living, or Hotel setting
- Supervisory experience is a plus
