Maintenance Director

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that the facility and department is maintained as required by regulation.
• Ensure that supplies are requested, approved and ordered according to policy.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining infection control, waste disposal and Universal Precautions policies and procedures to ensure that sanitary environment is maintained at all times and that aseptic and isolation techniques are followed by all responsible personnel.
• Oversight of Maintenance Service department employees on a daily basis.
• Orients new employees to maintenance duties.
• Maintains building appearance and accessibility for residents and staff by maintaining lawn and shrubs, snow removal, and picking up of litter and other debris.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
