Major Job Responsibilities
- Manage work order priorities & develop job plans.
- Leverage plant & corporate resources to ensure we are safely completing preventative maintenance & emergency repairs.
- Maintain the backlog of work orders and move work orders to the ready-to-schedule phase, and review technician feedback upon work completion.
- Maintain the integrity of the date by ensuring correct coding and accurate job details.
- Partner with Production Manager to ensure that plans and schedules align based on the availability of equipment to support the plant operations.
- Incorporate safety requirements and JHA’s (Job Hazard Analysis) for all work orders and jobs to support and drive safe work behaviors.
- Analyze Data such as work order packet documentation from technicians to anticipate the number of man-hours and predict resources needed to close out future work orders.
- Utilize J.D. Edwards CMMS for budget planning. Manage & track spend versus budget, identify variances, and provide explanations to justify deviations.
- Identify & predict parts required for necessary maintenance efforts & verify stock or acquire inventory.
- Plan and schedule any installation and startup of new equipment to minimize the disruption of normal operations.
- Develop hands-on knowledge and expertise of production equipment, parts, functions and processes through observation and engaging with employees on the production floor.
Technical Skills
- Industrial Maintenance Acumen
- Demonstrated experience planning and supporting preventative and breakdown response maintenance work.
- Inventory & contractor sourcing experience.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & a strong familiarity with CMMS, JD Edwards preferred.
- Budget and maintenance spend management experience.
- Capital planning experience will be valued.
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $59,250.00 - $98,750.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado.
